At the center of the group’s technology platform is 5FR™, a proprietary water-based engineered fluid system manufactured in-house by Aquarius Chemical. 5FR™ was developed to provide the friction reduction performance required for high-rate hydraulic fracturing while also delivering enhanced proppant transport and placement capabilities traditionally difficult to achieve with conventional slickwater systems.

Unlike conventional friction reducers that primarily focus on hydraulic efficiency, FR5™ is engineered to improve proppant suspension, distribution, and placement throughout the fracture network — helping operators achieve wider proppant coverage within the target zone and support improved fracture conductivity and production performance. The system is designed to work seamlessly with modern frac and completion fluid systems while maintaining compatibility with the water chemistries commonly encountered throughout the Permian Basin.
