Our History

Founded in 2018, Aquarius Chemical quickly established expertise in ClO₂ and PAA water treatment, well sterilization, completions chemistry, stimulation support, and production enhancement technologies for the oil and gas industry.

As the company expanded, Aquarius broadened its capabilities into production enhancement and stimulation support services, including well diagnostics, chemical treatment design, field application, and production optimization programs focused on maximizing hydrocarbon recovery while reducing operating costs, downtime, and equipment-related challenges.

Aquarius continued investing in advanced technologies designed to improve well productivity and fracture performance, leading to the commercialization of a proprietary engineered fluid system that combines the hydraulic performance benefits of a polyacrylamide friction reducer with the proppant transport and carrying characteristics traditionally associated with guar-based systems. The technology was engineered to improve proppant placement efficiency, preserve formation integrity, enhance fracture conductivity, and support increased production performance following well completion.

In 2026, Aquarius further expanded its capabilities through the creation of its Specialty Chemicals Group and the acquisition of the NRGMAX® platform, adding a comprehensive portfolio of NRGMAX®-powered chemical technologies for completions, stimulation, and production enhancement applications.

Today, Aquarius Chemical continues to grow as a trusted partner for operators throughout West Texas and beyond by delivering innovative chemical technologies, responsive field support, and integrated solutions that improve operational performance across the lifecycle of the well.
